IMXOrders (previously listed as IMXTrade)
API to facilitate additional trading options, specifically English Auctions, Listing Offers, and Bundle Sales
Our proposal involves the building of an easy-to-use and versatile API to extend the current “orders” functionality on ImmutableX.
We have identified 3 major features that are currently lacking in the IMX ecosystem that would greatly benefit all users.
These features are: English Auctions, Listing Offers, and Bundle Sales.
These additional trading options are frequently requested and are necessary in order to give IMX users a complete trading experience.
Our proposed timeline for this proposal is:
API Architectural Design - 1 week (40 hours)
Auctions build out - 3 weeks (120 hours)
Listing Offers - 2 weeks (80 hours)
Bundle Sales - 2 weeks (80 hours)
API Documentation - 1 week (40 hours)
Total = 360 hours of development work
Based on current conversion of $IMX (of which we requested 10k tokens) to $USD, that would be the equivalent of about $56-$60 USD / Hour, which is a reasonable rate for development costs. We feel that the hourly estimates are accurate enough to give realistic expectations for our timeline.
We would be able to start work on this immediately once our proposal is accepted and would not have any roadblocks or other items interfering with our timeline.
